We’ve been where you are.

We built Moody Teas, a small-batch loose-leaf tea brand, from the ground up in Chicago. Farmers markets, pop-ups, an online store, a production kitchen, the works. We learned what it takes to build an online presence that sells, not just one that looks nice.

Founders kept asking how we did it, so we started Prickly Pear Consulting to help other small businesses do the same, with the personal attention a big agency will never give you.

Before you start.

Can I move my existing site?
Yes. If your site runs on WordPress somewhere else, we copy it over for you: pages, posts, media and settings. Your old site keeps running until the new one is ready and your domain points to us. Tell us where it lives now.
What if I need help later?
Use Report an issue in your client portal and a real person answers. If you would rather we make changes for you every month, management plans start at $75 a month with hosting included. See the plans.
Do I own my domain?
Yes. Your domain stays registered in your name, wherever you bought it. You add the records we show you, and we connect it and set up the certificate. If you leave, you point it somewhere else. We do not sell or hold domains.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
From your client portal, any time. The price is the same every month: there is no first-year discount that jumps at renewal.
